Manchester United Wonderkid Struggling To Work With Van Gaal

Januzaj is the hottest young talent at Old Trafford currently and had many United fans hoping he was there next superstar in waiting after a series of stunning performances last year under David Moyes.

However Jauzaj has struggled for game time this year, and when he has played he has looked way out of his depth, So┬ámuch so that he was linked with a loan move away from Old Tarfford during the recent January window, with many clubs showing an interest. After cashing in on some of Utd’s young talents in the summer though, Van Gaal was reluctant to let him go in January.

On the back of this Januzaj has come out and┬ásaid it is difficult for him to find his best form, while being asked to play in Van Gaal’s 3-5-2 formation. Januzaj has stated he is not a wing back and that being deployed there does not get the best out of him, as he is not a defender. Januzaj has gone on to claim that his preferred position is further forward and enjoys being deployed either on the wing, or in the No 10 role.

Januzaj was quick to add that he needs to learn to develop his game, and with playing time being limited for him at the moment, he must take any opportunity to play that arises. He also said he was working on the wing back role every day in training.

It still remains however that with Januzaj appearing to be frustrated not just with the lack of playing time, but with the role he is deployed in, that another one of Manchester United’s brightest young prospects may be forced to move on. Especially with another big money spending spree on the horizon at Old Trafford this summer.
